Can I trust you with my money? Paying with Paypal is completely secure. Because you are temporarily directed off our site and into Paypal's, we never see your financial information and it is not stored on any of our servers. I'm scared that you will know my problem and my personal information... Don't be worried. We deliberately choose to know less about you than almost all online or offline retailers and service providers. By using Paypal as our payment gateway, they handle all the financial information. We aren't sending you anything by post, so you will notice at payment that 'buyer delivery address' is missing: as we don't need it, we have switched it off so you don't need to fill this out. In fact, the only thing we get from you is your email address, your Paypal email address and your problem. In addition, Paypal sends us notification of payment: this tells us your paypal email address, your name and the amount you have paid. That's all we ever know about you. How long will I have to wait for a reply? We guarantee -or your money back- to send our reply to you within 24 hours of your problem being submitted. Most of the time, our reply is much faster, but it depends on the time of day (or night!) the problem is submitted. Please note that this guarantee applies from the time at which BOTH the question and the payment have been made. Can I submit the problem first and pay later? You can do this, but your question will be kept on hold for up to three days or until you make payment. My problem is rather sensitive/gender-specific so I'd rather a member of my own sex replied to me. Is this possible? Certainly. Although all our team are trained and used to dealing with all kinds of issues affecting members of the sex opposite to themselves, we recognise that not everybody wants to 'reveal' their problems or concerns to a member of the opposite sex. As our agony team contains both men and women, you may specify that a male or female answers you. However, sometimes this is not possible within 24 hours, so we'll let you know shortly after we get your message so you can decide whether to wait, get a refund, or choose to have someone of the opposite sex answer your question. Will you send me spam or marketing? No. The only time we will contact you will be regarding your specific problem, or if you ask us to contact you for any other reason. We will not send you spam, or sell your email address to marketing companies. No-one from our site will ever try to sell you something as a result of asking for your help. We recognise that right now you may be feeling low or vulnerable, but unlike other so-called 'help' sites, we're not here to exploit that. What kind of answer can I expect? A straight one! However, the tone much depends on the actual type of your problem. If you tell us that you are having an affair with three people at once and you have promised to marry them all, you will probably not get such a sympathetic answer as someone who has just lost custody of their kids in a messy divorce. While we might applaud or condemn your actions or decisions, what we won't do is judge you as a person, take the moral high ground, or give opinions prejudiced by religious or cultural beliefs.
